Mr. Kawata started out as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney and spent three years with the office.  He has tried over seventy jury cases and handled hundreds of non-jury matters.  Mr. Oyasato worked with the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for sixteen years and tried over 130 jury trials as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney.  He has been involved in several hundred criminal matters in his six years in private practice.  Between them, the attorneys have been involved in criminal cases involving the most serious to misdemeanors.
